Create Backup # #

Backups are created from the Elastic Volumes section. To create a backup:

1. Navigate to Providers >> OpenStack >> Storage >> Elastic Volumes.

2. Find the volume you want to back up.

3. Click on the Actions menu next to the volume.

4. Select Create Backup to open the backup creation form.

5. Provide the following details:

   • Name – Enter a recognizable name for the backup.
   • Description (Optional) – Add notes about the backup purpose.
   • Container Name – Specify the storage container for the backup.
   • Backup Snapshot (Optional) – Select a previously created snapshot to include in the backup.
   • Incremental Backup (Checkbox) – If checked, the system will create an incremental backup, saving only changes since the last full backup.

6. Click Create to initiate the backup process. The new backup will appear in the Backups section.
