Server Groups in QCloud allow you to define policies for virtual machine placement to optimize performance and availability. The available policies include:
- Affinity: Ensures that instances within the server group are placed on the same host.
- Anti-Affinity: Ensures that instances within the server group are placed on different hosts.
Navigating to Server Groups #
To manage Server Groups in QCloud:
- Go to Providers core menu.
- Select OpenStack.
- Navigate to Compute.
- Click on Server-Group.
This will take you to the Server Groups listing page.
List Server Group #
The Server-Group listing page displays all existing server groups with the following details:
- Name: The name assigned to the server group.
- Policies: The policy applied (Affinity or Anti-Affinity).
- Actions: Available actions, including deletion.
